IT’S TIME! Are you ready for ‘Health & Gender Equity in a Period of Global Crisis’?

We’re all set for kicking off ‘HEALTH AND GENDER EQUITY IN A PERIOD OF GLOBAL CRISIS’ in Galway, on 28-29 November 2013!

DSA Ireland (Development Studies Association Ireland), the IFGH (Irish Forum for Global Health)  and Gender Arc are delighted to present a day and half of interesting and thought-provoking sessions that will focus on the conference themes of gender, health and development.

Parallel sessions – which will look at the latest research, and research questions, arising in these areas – will follow, with details of each session below:

Day 1: Development 2.0

Day 2: Gender Equity in Global Crisis: Plenary followed by parallel sessions 

Day 2: Health Equity in Global Crisis: Plenary followed by parallel sessions 

 

We also invite participants to join us to mark World AIDS Day with a special event on Day 1: The Irish Aid Annual Father Michael Kelly Lecture titled ‘Gender, Sexuality and HIV’.
