The objectives of the Research Resource Group are to:

  • provide a platform for researchers to interact, share information and generate interest in doing research and promoting research-based policy and practice
  • connect global health researchers with individuals and organisations who can help them work more effectively, including funding agencies, research users and fellow researchers
  • enable the development of research groups that address factors that impact on health globally, including within Ireland’s multicultural society
  • promote the implementation of research that strengthens health systems in low and middle income countries.
